Iron Duke is a part of Beaufort Londons Revenants collection, an assortment of fragrances that draw inspiration from famous historical figures from Britain’s storied past–characters who’ve left a lasting impression and whose presence lingers, subtly. The Duke in question is Arthur Wellesly, Duke of Wellington (1769 1852). The celebrated horseman, warrior politician, and sartorial pioneer was an icon of depth and power, and Beaufort’s perfumers worked to encapsulate his characters in this striking scent.
