A great drywall hammer with a special design of weight. leverage tool balance that feels good in the hand. Made of all-forged American-made steel. this hammer is a tough tool that is made to last. Drywall workers like this Estwing model due to it’s versatility. The great feature with this model is the wide beveled waffle-head which will not tear or rip holes into the drywall. unlike what regular hammers will do. The beveled waffle-face also gives the drywall a nice “dimple” when pounding stipples the paper. so that when you cover it with drywall compound afterwards. it will stick well. One may also score drywall with the blade pry nails with the little notch. The hammer may also be used to carry drywall panels with the special notch. The handle has Estwing’s nylon vinyl deep cushion grip. which is bonded to the steel for comfort durability. Made in the USA. Note: Honing of blade is recommended before use.
